Sysco are specialists in Housing Training and have been worked with a number of housing associations to deliver the new housing standard apprenticeships alongside other apprenticeship qualifications. We have been working with One Manchester to deliver housing and leadership and management apprenticeships and have helped new and existing staff to improve skills in their job roles. Q: Hi Rachel, what first attracted you to working with Sysco?


A: One Manchester had an existing positive relationship with Sysco. When I started my role I spoke to an ex-colleague who had received a high level of service and, following a review, decided to continue using them for our training needs.


Q: How have you found the account management from Sysco’s BDEs?


A: The account management from Sysco has been excellent and our Account Manager’s service has been brilliant. From sourcing the right course, to explaining the course content, training methodology and process, from ensuring the year planner was finalised early to regular progress review meetings. Q: Do you feel like you are kept up to date with your employee’s progress?


A: We are always kept up to date with progress. We receive quarterly reports that document technical and behavioural progress updates and highlight areas of strength and concerns so we can work together to finds solutions to resolve any barriers to learning.


Q: How would you rate the communication from Sysco’s tutors?


A: Both the communication and flexibility in delivery of Sysco’s tutors is very good.


Q: How do apprenticeships benefit your business?


A: Apprenticeships benefit our business. We are giving opportunities to possible future employees to learn and gain a professional qualification.

A: Absolutely yes, based on the fantastic service I have received.
