The CIH is the largest awarding body for Housing qualifications and Sysco are one of the the largest providers of CIH certificates in the North West. We are accredited by the CIH to deliver CIH Certificate in Housing qualifications at Level 2, 3 and 4 commercially. Additionally, Sysco offer Housing Apprenticeships that can be funded using the Apprenticeship Levy.

CIH Level 2 Certificate in Housing Practice
The Level 2 Certificate in Housing Practice provides a general introduction to the housing sector. It has four units:
- The Housing Provision and Housing Organisations
- Customer Service for Housing
- Careers and Personal Development for Housing
- Asset Management and the Repairs and Maintenance Service
Gaining a qualification is a great way to develop your career prospects. Qualifications at this level will give you a basic understanding of housing and introduce you to some of the skills and knowledge necessary to participate in housing related activities.
CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice
The Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice will provide you with a broader knowledge and understanding of key areas in delivering housing services. All delegates will study a choice of optional units alongside two mandatory units:
- The Housing System
- Professional Practice Skills for Housing
Sysco also offer two pathways designed by the CIH, the Managing Housing Services pathway and the Support for Independent Living pathway.
CIH Level 4 Certificate in Housing
CIH level 4 Certificate in Housing provides delegates with technical knowledge and understanding across a broad range of housing topics. The qualification explores areas of housing policy, law, finance, and professional practice in four mandatory units:
- Financing for Housing
- Housing Law
- Housing Policy
- Professional Practice Skills for Housing
Sysco also offer two optional units: Managing People and Change and Housing Need, Demand and Supply
